When we hit the highway, it was like butter. Breezy butter. I was waving at the drivers to do drive-bys so I could get some shots. The red BMW is the owner of FSR. I found this out as I descended back in the car for a breather.
I noticed a majority of the cars had GoPros, so if you saw some lunatic hanging out the passenger side of a white 1982 Celica Supra, that’s me.
The funniest part of this whole trip was that no one really knew where they were going!
Each driver that caught up to us would ask, and no one really knew! So, we kept driving to the Red Rocks “area”.
Supras in the suburbs.
Finally! We found the right entrance! I was already in awe as we approached. I live in Florida. We have no mountains. We barely have hills. This was just too much. For $7, I had an amazing experience.
We pulled over and waited for the rest of the caravan to catch up. Now, I’ll just let the pictures do the talking…
Steve, thanks for sharing, you got yourself some beautiful pictures at the event. You’ll have to come to next year’s event too if you can swing it. Once you’ve been to one Supras in Vegas event, you have to make a return trip… kinda a rule. =)
